How we handle your data on Ledger Live
When you visit Ledger Live, we may record information about the terminal on which you have installed our application (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) and/or to access information stored on this terminal.
We use SDKs (Software Development Kits) supplied by service providers external to Ledger. SDKs are a set of tools used to develop an application, depending on the operating system used.
The SDKs we use do not collect any personal identifiable information (such as your name or email address). They only collect:
Your terminal ID: you have one ID per terminal used (mobile/desktop) and this ID changes when you reinstall the app,
Your terminal properties, such as type, version, language and region recorded for your operating system,
Usage data, such as page visits, clicks and actions (e.g. launch of the application),
Push notification logs (notification received/opened).
We do not activate without your consent the SDKs that collect data to improve or personalize your experience. You can modify your choices at any time in the application settings. On the other hand, we do activate the SDKs needed for debugging by default, but you can object to this in the application settings.
We use the following SDKs:
To debug Ledger Live: Sentry.
To improve Ledger Live and your experience: Segment, Firebase.
To send you personalized recommendations and contents that match your preferences (in app and through push notifications if you have agreed to receive such notifications), and to measure the performance of our marketing contents: Segment, Braze.
The operation of each SDK is governed by the contract we have signed with the SDK supplier. For more information about how Ledger handles your data, check our Privacy policy or contact us using this form.
